Helmer Edward Charles LAC (P) R76623- under training. From Kinuso, Alberta. Killed Jun 29/41. #33 Service Flying Training School, Carberry, Manitoba. LACs E C Helmer and Donald Hugh Ross were killed when Anson Aircraft # 6391 crashed five miles south -east of the railway station at Pleasant Point, Manitoba. The accident occurred one day before LAC was to graduate. Leading Aircraftman Pilot Helmer is buried in Moore's Cemetery, Kinuso, Alberta
